JBrowse human (hg19) demo

This JBrowse demo shows our current progress on the in-development branch of the code. The main goal of the current development work is to enable JBrowse to scale to large data sets, including next-generation sequencing data sets. For example, this bookmark link:

index.html?loc=chr1:208974390..208975047&tracks=DNA,bam_simulated,SNPs-130,SplicedESTs,GenomeVariants-CEU-father-2891,GenomeVariants-CEU-daught-2878,GenomeVariants-CEU-mother-2892

shows some of the denser tracks currently in the demo, including a track containing simulated next-gen reads (at the time of writing this track is only available on chromosome 1 for demonstration purposes; it contains roughly 65 million reads on chromosome 1, or about 30x coverage with 100 base unpaired reads. The other tracks include dbSNP 130, and some individual subject variant tracks.

This demo of the JBrowse development branch is intended to show our progress in handling tracks with large numbers of features. However, the current state of the development branch code is less stable and polished than the main branch code.
